Cheryl Schuette is an officer-level business driver, strategist, and change agent with more than 16 years’ corporate leadership experience and thirty years total experience in the Colorado residential real estate industry. Cheryl is currently the Principal of Cheryl Schuette & Associates, a company committed to maximizing real estate property values by assisting with successful asset management, sales and marketing, construction and development services.
Cheryl was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Village Homes of Colorado, formerly one of Colorado’s largest private locally owned home building and community development companies – building and delivering 500 homes annually over the past decade. At Village Homes (1984-2009), she created and delivered innovative community master plans across the state, each with a unique story to tell, incorporating landscape plans, marketing and architectural details which earned the housing industry “Community of the Year” recognitions six years running in Colorado (2001 to 2007) and “National Community of the Year” (2008). Under her leadership Village twice garnered the “Homebuilders & Associates in Partnership Award”, by establishing Village Homes’ tone in interfacing with business associates based on values, honesty, integrity and continuous improvement. During her leadership term, Village Homes was recognized as Builder Magazine’s Nation Home Builder of the Year (2002) and Ranked #1 in Customer Service by J.D. Power and Associates (2002).
